Using Microsoft Exchange on linux with Davmail and Mailspring

 

What problem does this solve

If you need to use Exchange email on a Linux distribution.

 

Prerequisites 

1. Download and install Davmail.
2. Download and install Mailspring. 
   

The solution

Configure your davmail as the image below:

 

Exchange Protocol -> EWS

EWS URL -> The Exchange url

Now lets configure the Mailspring:

 

Select IMAP/SMTP

 

 

Insert your name, e-mail and password:

 

Insert the IMAP and SMTP config:

Note that the ports used are the same as those configured in davmail. Enter your network user and password in the IMAP and SMTP fields.

 

That's It.

This is good option to use your company e-mail on linux distribution.
